Forget Me Not

Making communication more natural at the time of bereavement.

The final year Masters project includes both theoretical and practical elements in the form of an integrated dissertation and design project. The chosen subject is about the experience of bereavement and how loosing a loved one can often be an isolating experience.

“People are scared of bereavement as much as they are scared of dying because it’s something they don’t know how to deal with. No-one does the first time around.”

Forget Me Not is a personal service available through the funeral director for family and friends who have recently lost a loved one. It takes care of people’s communication needs by helping inform people about the death and offering non-intrusive and sensitive ways people can support one another by sending messages and thoughts easily. Forget Me Not also helps people gather a resource of memories.
